Q. How do I enroll in U.S. Career Institute Online High School?
A. To enroll in USCI click the enroll now button and complete the step-by step process- enrolling should take just a few minutes. For students under 18 a parent or guardian is required to complete the agreement. Students will be required to self-attest completion of 8th grade by providing the school name, address, and date of attendance. Applicants will receive their acceptance information immediately via email. Acceptance will always be within 48 business hours. Applicants who do not meet all entrance requirements will receive a full refund of any tuition paid.

Q. What are the entrance requirements?
A. USCI is an open enrollment school, which means that as long as a student is at least 13 years old, has completed 8th grade and can read and write in English they will be accepted into the program.

Q. Can I transfer previously earned high school credits?
A. Yes! USCI accepts up to 18 credits from previous high school experience. We believe it is important to maximize transfer credits and will evaluate all transcripts within one week after we receive them and help students create their learning plans based on the credits that are accepted.
All transcripts must be submitted within 75 days of enrollment in order to be considered. Visit our transfer credit page for more information.

Q. Can I get credits for work experience?
A. USCI allows students to gain up to 1 elective credit for relevant work experience as defined in the student catalog under the work-credit affidavit section.

Q. How long do I have to finish the program?
A. Once a student enrolls, the student has 12 months (or 30 days per 0.5 credit hours) per school year to complete the school work for each grade. Students take one course at a time, giving you the ability to fully focus on one class before moving on to the next. Once a student has completed their elective credits and the first academic course in each content area and has a 2.5 GPA or above, you may elect to take two courses at a time.
