Upon graduation from our pharmacy tech program for Ohio residents, you will receive your U.S. Career Institute Certificate of Completion attesting to your accomplishment. Graduates are eligible to take advantage of an 80-hour Walgreens externship. The externship does not have an additional tuition cost, and is available to all graduates who meet the Walgreens Externship requirements. Even though the externship is optional, we encourage our graduates to take advantage of this great resource to get valuable hands-on experience. Meet Basic Requirements: You must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and have no disqualifying criminal convictions.
Complete Training: Enroll in an accredited pharmacy technician program or gain equivalent on-the-job training approved by a supervising pharmacist.
Obtain Certification: Pass a certification exam like the PTCE or ExCPT. Our program here at USCI pays for your certification exam fee.
