Upon graduation from our pharmacy tech program for Georgia residents, you will receive your U.S. Career Institute Certificate of Completion attesting to your accomplishment. Pharmacy technicians work in retail pharmacies (such as CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, independent pharmacies, and certain grocery stores), hospitals and clinics, long term care facilities, mail-order pharmacies, military and government facilities, compounding pharmacies, along with other pharmaceutical industries working in research, manufacturing, or quality control of medications.
Graduates are eligible to take advantage of an 80-hour Walgreens externship. The externship does not have an additional tuition cost, and is available to all graduates who meet the Walgreens Externship requirements. Even though the externship is optional, we encourage our graduates to take advantage of this great resource to get valuable hands-on experience. If you meet the requirements our graduate support team will help you set up the externship in your area!

Education: Earn a high school diploma or equivalent. While not required, completing a pharmacy technician training program can improve your skills and job prospects. Our program here at USCI can be completed in 4 months.

Registration: Apply for registration with the Georgia State Board of Pharmacy. You must be at least 17 years old and meet the Board's requirements.
