Fort Collins, CO November 16, 2021 – U.S. Career Institute, an online teaching institute and provider of self-paced, affordable certificate and degree programs in high-growth fields, launched two new training courses today—Phlebotomy Technician and HVACR Technician. The Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC) and State of CO have approved these two new programs offered through U.S. Career Institute.
The new Phlebotomy Technician course broadens U.S. Career Institute’s portfolio of Healthcare Programs, by training students to become Phlebotomy Technicians. Phlebotomy Technicians play a crucial role in healthcare by performing skilled and sterile blood draws, accurate labeling and detailed record-keeping. Graduates will be confident in their phlebotomy skills, along with their knowledge of vascular anatomy, blood components, the cardiovascular system, medical terminology, vital signs, and documentation and record maintenance.
In as little as four months, students can get a foot in the door of the fast-growing healthcare industry by training to become a Phlebotomy Technician. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects much faster than average growth—22%—for Phlebotomy Tech jobs in the next ten years.* As long as there are patients, Phlebotomy Technicians will be needed to draw blood for tests, transfusions, blood donations and research. They are crucial to blood donation centers and healthcare facilities across the country and around the world.
The new HVACR Technician training course adds to the selection of Services Programs offered by U.S. Career Institute. HVAC Technicians play a huge role in the construction industry by installing and maintaining heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems – in commercial and residential buildings. Graduates will be confident in their HVAC skills, along with their knowledge of the proper use of materials and equipment, safety procedures and regulations, theories and processes used for evaluating, and the procedures and techniques for installing, testing, repairing and maintaining HVACR systems
Now is the time to train to start making money in one of the largest, oldest and most secure industries in the nation. The U.S. Bureau of Labor projects approximately 380,000 HVAC Jobs by 2032**. Driving this growth is new construction of commercial and residential buildings. Also, with the increased priority on pollution reduction and energy efficiency, more HVACR Technicians will be needed to upgrade, retrofit or entirely replace outdated systems.
In addition to earning a certificate, graduates will be prepared to take the EPA Section 608 Type I, Type II and Type III certification exams. For those who choose to get certified after successfully completing the course, U.S. Career Institute will reimburse graduates for the cost of the EPA Section 608 certification exams.
Along with the new Phlebotomy Technician and HVACR Technician certificate programs, U.S. Career Institutes offers many training programs for high demand occupations in healthcare, services, business, legal and wellness industries. We have trained thousands of students over the years for in-demand, professional careers.
