Pharmacy Technician graduates may choose to extend their learning by participating in an 80-hour Walgreens externship. Interested graduates must meet the Walgreens Externship standard requirements.

This certificate program prepares students to enter the healthcare field as a pharmacy technician and sit for one of two professional certification exams — Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE) or Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT).
