Program Overview

Our medical assistant programs prepare students to begin or expand their healthcare career with core knowledge and practical skills for both clinical and administrative duties. At the completion of the certificate or degree program, students will be prepared to sit for national certification as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), and/or Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS).

For those focusing more on front-office and administrative skills, our medical administrative assistant certificate program will prepare students to either expand their existing role to include these important skills or begin a new career as a medical administrative assistant. At the completion of this program, students will be prepared to sit for the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) certification exam.

Medical Assistant programs are designed by subject matter experts who actively work in the field and our in-house curriculum team.
